American Artisan wants nothing short of you and your client’s total satisfaction.  Some have suggested that we're obsessive about quality, details and delivering great value. Our Policies

ART REQUIREMENTS:
For best results we require “Process Ready” Art which means in order of preference:

  1. PC Vector formatted files such as .eps, .ai or .cdr – preferably Black & White, or Grayscale. To avoid possible distortion or substitution of fonts, please save fonts as curves or outlines before sending vector artwork. Also please FAX a composite reference copy for us to cross check for accuracy
  2. 300 dpi or higher bmp, jpg and TIFF files – preferably Black & White, or Grayscale relatively close e.g. +/- 10%, to the size intended to be imprinted.
  3. Camera Ready STAT/Smooth art - preferably Black & White or Grayscale

Digital Art may be emailed or submitted on CD or DVD Disks, or memory stick and must include art contact’s name, phone and email address, and reference the PO Number (which should be emailed or Faxed with or before the artwork is submitted unless otherwise agreed).

You may incur extra charges if the artwork does not meet the above requirements and needs to be edited/reworked or created/recreated. The cost is $75 (G)/Hour (after the first half hour which is free) and you will be requested to approve any additional charges BEFORE the work begins.

IMPRINT CONTENT - American Artisan reserves the right to reject any content that may violate copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights of any third party, or that may be obscene or offensive. Customer indemnifies and holds American Artisan harmless from any damage, loss or expense arising from or related to Customer's content. 

PAPER PROOFS:
“Paper” Proofs are normally completed within 24-48 hours of receiving artwork and included in the Setup Fee. Proofs will be emailed in PDF Format for quick/easy review and approval. Paper proofs must be approved via return email or Fax before we will start working on an order.

PREPRODUCTION SAMPLES:
$25 (G) plus the cost of the item and Set-Up Charge. 50% of the sample charge will be credited to approved/confirmed orders. To expedite and help keep your cost to a minimum we also offer photos of reproduction Samples for $15 (G) ea plus of course the cost of the item and Set-Up Charge.

PERSONALIZATION/COPY CHANGE:
$4.50 (G)/line of up to 16 Characters

SEQUENTIAL NUMBERING (Collectibles and “Raffle Numbers”):
Depends on the item - call for quote

RUSH ORDERS:
We recognize that some orders must be completed and shipped sooner than our normal lead times and we will do our best to meet any special time requirements. Please call ahead. Rush charges will vary from $25 (G) to $50 (G) depending on the product and turnaround time.

SHIPPING:
We ship most orders UPS Ground (or LTL where it will save money for larger orders). Freight will be added to invoices unless otherwise agreed. $5(G) Service Fee is added to shipments on customer or 3rd party accounts, other than for free samples.

DROP SHIP/SPLIT DESTINATION SERVICE:
$4.50 (G)/Address (after the first address).

FOB POINT:
Prices are FOB Factory located in North Texas unless otherwise noted when order is placed.

UNDER/OVERRUNS:
Every effort is made to ship the exact quantity ordered however for imprinted Utensils and OptiCloths we reserve  the right to ship and bill up to 5% over or under the quantity ordered.

LESS THAN MINIMUM:
$10 (G).

SPECIAL PACKAGING, OPTIONS & FULFILLMENT SERVICES:

CANCELLATIONS:
All charges incurred before cancellations must be paid.

CLAIMS:
Must be made within 30 days of receipt of shipment. We warranty our products and will repair or replace any which are either defective or on which we are responsible for an imprint error.

TERMS: First and Special Product Orders to be prepaid or secured by deposit or credit card provided. Terms offered to qualifying customers upon receipt of acceptable credit references and ratings.

WEB & CATALOG PHOTOS: American Artisan does not offer for resale any product displayed in this catalog with the corporate logo or image shown. These are illustrated merely to demonstrate each product’s use and method of imprinting and do not imply any endorsement.
